An attempt by French artist Julien de Casabianca to revitalize parts of Praga has met with patchy results after it was reported that some of his works were vandalized within days. As part of an international project, the Frenchman had adorned some of the district’s more ramshackle buildings with processed photographs of paintings found in the National Museum, including those painted by Lempicka, Malczewski and Gierymski.
