Sat, as it is, in the deserted backspaces and brickyards behind Zachodnia station, 2Koła is the ultimate Warsaw dive bar: still stained and smelling of grease and oil, this former garage features dented sofas and concrete floors. But if it looks terrifying, it transpires to be anything but – the supremely friendly owners have turned it into a cult bar that’s famed for its jam sessions, not to mention quirky motorcycle décor. The fridge isn’t half bad either, with decent craft beers peddled for prices that are considerably cheaper than anywhere else.
