Adrenaline, creativity, excitement and fun: the upcoming 48 Hour Film Project has all this and more. This year’s competition takes place in Warsaw with teams from the whole of Poland invited to apply.

Registered teams will have just two days to make a movie from scratch: from writing all the way to shooting, editing and composing a soundtrack. The adjudication panel includes influential movie critics, famous directors and other prolific filmmakers, including the award-winning director Janusz Zaorski. Selected films will be screened at the legendary Kino Iluzjon on October 1st and 2nd. 

Prizes will be awarded during a gala held on October 8th with the winning entry being screened at the 2017 Filmapalooza festival in Seattle. Successful projects will also be considered for entry into the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2017, Court Metrage.

Financed by the City of Warsaw, official partners include The Polish Film Institute.
