Warsaw is bloated with bars for that big Friday night. Sometimes though, you want something a bit more personal: a place with good beer but an intimate atmosphere. A haunt where the owners know your name and will happily keep serving for as long as you’re drinking. Junior is that place, a warm little room with five or so taps serving out craft beer, and a promise to become Warsaw’s primary port of call for all things relating to whisky.
Set on action-packed Nowogrodzka, the overall quality of this operation isn’t much of the shocker: it’s a side project courtesy of next door Jabeerwocky, meaning no end of exciting beers, but served in a less raucous atmosphere – the perfect venue for a quiet pint of something special.
