Tired of playgrounds and swimming pools? Engage all of your child’s senses with this educational and developmental experience – and it’s open to kids as young as one!
In Sensorysie, a space of over 800 sq/m, you will discover a world tailored to captivate even the most easily-distracted littles ones. Buy an hour-long ticket (though we recommend two) and discover the playroom, sensory labyrinth as well as a rich calendar of workshops and activities for both kids and parents. Each space is tailored to focus on one particular sense, from balance, touch, taste, to sight and many more.
In the Seal Cave, for example, attention is directed towards illuminated stalactites and stalagmites and glow-in-the-dark insects. Focusing on these details children recognize shapes and colors, practice new words and imagine themselves braving a new world. The sensory labyrinth, on the other hand, allows children to experience touch in all its breadth and wonder. In the branches of trees magpies have hidden their treasures – shiny keys, locks, necklaces, mirrors and jewels – everything their little eyes can spy. Children are able to touch these objects, feeling their varied textures – hard, soft, smooth, rough, warm, cold, wet, sticky and spongy. Through such tactile play toddlers and young children are able to develop manual dexterity and improve cognitive capacity – associating new feelings with daily encounters.
Sensorysie is also the perfect place to throw a toddler birthday bash. There’s no need to worry about children running away and parents can catch their breath in the on-site café and mini library. See their birthday offer for pricing, HERE.
