Warsaw has a new must-see. Tucked inside the courtyard of the historic Jabłkowski Brothers’ tenement on Chmielna 21, a larger-than-life mural of a vintage tram soaring on a zeppelin balloon has taken the city by storm — drawing thousands of visitors a day and filling social media feeds with wonder. The man behind it is Piotr Glegoła, a Warsaw architect who, with his very first public mural, has managed to do what few artists achieve: stop a city in its tracks. We sat down with him to find out how it all happened.
