This Sunday, September 29th, the next edition of the “Adopt a Warsawian” campaign will take place, this time featuring dogs from the Paluch Shelter at Moczydło Park. Visitors will have the chance to meet the shelter’s residents between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
Now in its fourth year, the “Adopt a Warsawian” campaign aims to promote animal adoption and reach locals who may not yet have visited the shelter at 2 Paluch Street. One of the stars of the event will be Trufel, a charming 12-year-old introverted dog who loves walks, naps, food, and toys. Trufel is also the face of this Sunday’s campaign.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to microchip their pets for free, so remember to bring your ID and your pet’s health book with up-to-date rabies vaccination. The shelter will host a booth where you can learn more about supporting homeless animals and receive tips on how to care for your own pets. Shelter representatives will also offer insights into what it’s like to work at the shelter.
Additionally, a Cat Corner will be available, featuring a gallery of cats from Paluch Shelter. For those interested, there will be a small agility course to enjoy with your pet.
