Running from September 30th to October 3rd, nearly sixty artists from Poland, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Slovakia, the Netherlands and the USA will be presented at Elektrownia Powiśle, Hala Gwardii and Art in house.
According to the organizers, “all artists share an excellent artistic level and an original approach to all techniques, from painting, through to sculpture, installation, photography and poster art, to audio, viral and… much, much more.”
Going beyond the norm, and combining various styles of technology, humor and expression, the presented artists seek to prove that independent contemporary art, and above all its authors, have a fair amount to say through their unique artistic language of expression.
Simultaneously, they also look to affirm this year’s festival slogan: “art is not a crime”.
Enthralling in its creativity, separate openings are also planned to mark this event – the first will take place in Elektrownia Powiśle on September 30th at 7 p.m. and the second at Hala Gwardii on October 1st at 1 p.m.
In an added boon, visitors will also be afforded the chance to meet the artists themselves from between noon and 8 p.m. each day until October 3rd. In addition, tours, art events and an after-part are also planned.
