The best skyline isn’t found in the middle of it. Instead, step back and watch Warsaw reveal itself from a distance. Begin at the Museum of Polish History, just 2 km from the centre and an easy riverside walk or tram ride away, where broad terraces frame the Old Town, the Vistula and the modern skyline.
Continue 4 km south to the Warsaw Uprising Mound, a short bike ride or taxi from Port Czerniakowski, for a spectacular 360-degree panorama stretching across the capital.
Finish another 3 km south at the Siekierkowski Bridge, best reached by bike or car, where the elevated crossing offers uninterrupted views of the city rising beyond the wild eastern banks of the Vistula.
