That sensation is compounded by a busy program of live entertainment – funk, blues, jazz and soul are the mainstay, and these sounds suit the place well. Benefiting from an equally strong drinks menu that boasts plenty of fancy cocktails, it’s a venue that feels smart, affluent and more sophisticated than the norm. Enjoyed by a crowd that tends to be late 20s upwards, this project fills its niche with aplomb.
