Best of Warsaw 2016/17

Key figures from the city’s food and drinks sector converged on the Sofitel on Thursday evening for the13th annual edition of the Warsaw Insider’s prestigious Best of Warsaw Awards.

Firmly established as one of the social highlights of the year, the principle categories were once more decided by an expert panel of jurors made consisting of some of the nation’s top food writers and critics. Joining our editorial team this year were Małgorzata Minta (Gazeta Wyborcza, Minta Eats), Agata Michalak (Kukbuk), Marta Glinka (Restaurantica, Warsaw Foodie), and Joanna Mroz (Warsaw Foodie, Froblog, Magazyn Usta).

As in previous years, the vote to resolve these categories was preceded by stormy dialogue during which our jurors presented their arguments for and against those that made the final cut. As with any ‘Best Of’ annual edition, there is an element of risk that those featured forthwith could stand to change both for better or worse… In spite of this, it is with a high degree of confidence that we introduce what the Insider’s panel of experts have divined to be the very cream of the crop. And so, without further formality, it is our unreserved pleasure to reveal…. The Best of Warsaw…
