When the Bierhalle chain first launched over a decade back they were seen as saviors of local brewing. The craft beer revolution of the last five years has seen that opinion reassessed, and while the formulaic brews are a step above the big macro-breweries they fall considerably short of what beer snobs now expect. Regardless of this, the Bavarian-style atmosphere keeps this place jumping in the evenings.
