For the next two weeks the Mokotów branch of the Mielżyński Wine Bar has entered into partnership with the Westin’s Fusion restaurant and the Deutz champagne house to showcase the considerable skillset of both.
Designed by chef Janusz Korczyński, his tasting menu comes paired with specially selected champagnes from Deutz, and was unveiled for the first time during a blissfully boozy press preview dinner last Friday. Featuring heavy Asian accents, highlights include a beautifully fresh salmon tataki (zł. 44), a fiery oriental consommé (zł. 28), and a precisely cooked grilled halibut (zł. 68).
Light and well-balanced, find the expertise of the Westin’s star chef matched by the prestigious champagnes of the widely admired Deutz brand – if the success of the media launch is anything to reflect on, expect to be left agog by a series of meticulous, standout tastes.
