Menu-wise, it feels like a familiar read – change the name on the cover and you could be in one of any fifty Indian restaurants in Warsaw. But if the menu has a sense of déjà vu, then the kitchen doesn’t. Convincing in their authenticity, Curry Leaf present full-blooded tastes that leave the taste buds jiving. Exhibit 1: a saber rattling vindaloo capable of bringing sweat to the brow. For those who don’t view Indian food as an extreme sport, then the more moderately spiced dishes are equally impressive: from the creamy, richness of the Chicken Tikka Masala, to the crispy, crunchy comfort offered by the brood of onion bhajis. Enjoying it is easy.
