On the weekend of May 24–25, 2025, Ursynów will become a vibrant hub of Czech culture, thanks to the Czech Culture Weekend organized by the Ursynów District Office in collaboration with the Czech Centre at the Embassy of the Czech Republic.
The Czech Culture Weekend offers a rich blend of cinema, live music, traditional crafts, and culinary delights. According to Klaudiusz Ostrowski, Deputy Mayor of the Ursynów District, this year’s edition invites attendees to explore the essence of Czech culture through its cinema, sounds, flavors and everyday traditions.
In addition to many other attractions, Saturday film screenings are also planned. The program kicks off with three unique Czech films:
On Sunday, there will be a Czech market and live concerts.
Starting at 11:00 AM, the outdoor space by the Ursynów District Office will transform into a bustling Czech market. Attendees can taste traditional foods and drinks, explore handmade crafts and enjoy live folk performances.

Throughout the day, a dedicated educational zone will host bloggers and travelers sharing their Czech inspirations, creating a full cultural immersion.
