The end is nigh! Eccentric and highly personal, Warsaw’s BioBazar has long been known as a lively tangle of sights and sounds and olfactory sensations. Rightly hailed as a local institution, it’s a place that celebrates the right way to eat and live. Now though, locals are in the last chance saloon to enjoy it in its current format. With the decaying Norblin factory earmarked for a substantial redevelopment, the BioBazar is set to enjoy one last weekend before temporarily moving to ul. Wołoska 3 next week.
While it’ll return to its spiritual home in approximately three years time, the chance to catch it in its existing framework should not to be missed. Playing a substantial part in the country’s food revolution, this legendary farmers’ market will have numerous events lined up, not least what promises to be an emotional farewell at the charmingly ramshackle Alterwina wine bar – the party starts at six!
