Jointly organized by the Mexican Embassy, Saturday and Sunday will see Hala Gwardii in line for a full Mexican makeover.
Set to include concerts courtesy of the Monarka Mex Folk group, as well as Mariachi Real and jazz from Eduard Bortolotti, the event will also include embroidery and handicraft workshops led by Daniela Castillo.
Reaching its climax on Sunday, the main draw is being cited as an El Grito independence ceremony held at 1 p.m.
Not forgetting children, either, drawing classes will also take place under the slogan of ‘Color Your Albebrije’.
Set to be attended by the Mexican Ambassador, Juan Sandoval, the biggest pull of all however undoubtedly stands to be the culinary attractions.
Among others, restaurants such as Tacos La Fiesta and El Popo will be represented, as will the De Care food import group. Intriguingly, you’ll also have the chance to enjoy the food of Pamela Montellano, the head chef at the Mexican Embassy.
