With the anniversary of the Jewish Ghetto Uprising just days away, a powerful open-air exhibition has opened outside Polin, the Museum of the History of Polish Jews.
Titled Witness, the exhibition is comprised of photographs and accompanying quotes taken from two Holocaust education programs: The March of the Living and the March of Remembrance and Hope.
The purpose of both these programs is for Holocaust survivors to share their experiences and memories with younger generations ‘in the very places they unfolded’.
Witness presents the results of such meetings in a way that’s highly emotive and thought provoking. See for yourself outside Polin (ul. Anielewicza 6).
