adidas Runners Warsaw is part of a global community that connects runners from around the world. Free trainings take place in RUNBASE Warsaw located in Powiśle. This autumn, ARW trainers invite those who want to take their first steps in running and those who want to prepare for The Night Mile race; a one-mile race that’s the first of its kind in Warsaw.
RUNBASE Warsaw is a unique space where the adidas Runners Warsaw community meets on a daily basis. The Runbase provides a wide range of free trainings and professional coaching. This is a place where everyone has the opportunity to try different forms of physical activity – from running trainings, strength, technique, speed to a general full-body workout. The sessions cater to a variety of levels enabling everyone to find something that suits them, all for free.
Daily workouts are a great opportunity to meet other runners and learn from qualified trainers. The adidas Runners Warsaw team consists of thirteen certified experts and every member of the community can count on their support. In addition, there is a dietitian, physiotherapist and a recently appointed dance instructor.
adidas Runners strives to be more than a community which trains regularly. Throughout the year, there are special thematic events which fulfill AR’s mission of being socially responsible. One such example is their collaboration with the Parley For the Oceans Foundation which brought forth a Global movement: Run For The Oceans on World Oceans Day.
A highly anticipated upcoming event, The Night Mile race which takes place on October 19, is designed and executed with sustainability at heart. The use of plastic will be limited whereby participants are asked to bring their own reusable water bottles, deposit bags made from re-used bottles and on-site segregation will be maintained.
The event provides runners with the opportunity to beat the official one-mile record or for those new to running, to experience their first certified race. Afterwards, runners can celebrate their results at the after-party in Elektrownia Powiśle.
Trainers at adidas Runners Warsaw created a free training plan tailored to running The Night Mile. At first thought, the 1609-meter distance may not seem demanding, however, it is definitely worth training for under the guidance of a professional. To participate in the sessions, join the group via the adidas Running by Runtastic app and sign up for the training or simply visit RUNBASE Warsaw at Solec 38.
Trainings are completely free and open to members of different levels, including beginners. RUNBASE Warsaw is equipped with changing rooms, cabinets, showers, a large exercise room and a chill zone. The place is visited daily by running and sport enthusiasts, who train together, meet and above all motivate each other! Join and contribute to the adidas Runners Warsaw community.
