Delivered by Ghelamco, features of the 57,000 sq/m project include a shimmering ‘dragon skin’ installation embellishing the exterior. Comprised of thousands of kinetic elements that gently move with the wind, the effect is designed to demonstrate the force of nature whilst simultaneously reminding passersby as to “the soul of this urban animal”.
“We are proud to have completed another project at Rondo Daszyńskiego, as this has become a real business center of the city,” said Ghelamco’s Jarosław Zagórski. “Warsaw Unit is a good example of a metropolitan skyscraper with its excellent transport facilities and numerous shops, restaurants, bars, apartments and hotels nearby.”
Already nearly 50% leased, the building’s innovations include several solutions introduced with the pandemic in mind: for instance, UV lighting in lifts so as to allow for the easy detection of viruses and bacteria, a virtual reception, contactless movement thanks to the use of a dedicated app and a tracing program that can track back the movements of infected individuals.
