This weekend (December 13–14), the HOP building on Chmielna 132/134 opens its doors for HOP Christmas, a two-day fair bringing together independent makers, designers, and small food producers. Running from 12:00 to 18:00, the event gathers around 20 exhibitors whose work spans jewelry, ceramics, textiles, natural products, and thoughtful holiday treats.
Expect a mix of emerging and established creatives: jewelry studios and ceramicists, artists working with textiles and fashion, as well as producers of kombucha, natural oils, and plant-based desserts. The fair offers a chance not only to pick up one-of-a-kind gifts but also to meet the people behind them and hear the stories that shape their work.
“For over ten years we’ve been creating a space for artists and artisans who think independently and work with intention,” says Monika Brzywczy, the fair’s founder. “This year, we’re excited to host the event in the redesigned HOP building—a space that feels genuinely aligned with the spirit of the fair.”

All participating brands work on a small scale, with an emphasis on craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and materials that feel personal rather than mass-produced.
HOP—a postmodern 1990s office building recently reimagined by Syrena Real Estate, Pine Bridge Benson Elliot, and architect Anna Łoskiewicz—has quietly become one of the city center’s more intriguing spaces. Its geometric white-and-copper facade leads into a lobby filled with rounded furniture, warm textures, green marble, and a sweeping staircase that feels more like an urban living room than an office interior.
The building also houses an artist-in-residence apartment on its top floor, restored and dedicated to creative work, research, and public engagement. On the ground floor, visitors will find LUPO Pasta Fresca, the restaurant run by sisters Justyna Kosmala and Barbara Kłosińska.
