This year, the JAZZ PO POLSKU Foundation kicked off the third edition of its celebrated Warsaw Live Sessions concert series on January 19 at the JASSMINE club. The inaugural performance featured the renowned Jazzpospolita, who showcased their latest album, Obiekt, to an enthusiastic crowd at the iconic venue on ul. Wilcza 73.
Over the course of 2025, the series will feature 15 Sunday evening concerts, spotlighting some of Poland’s finest jazz artists. Standout performances include Fryderyk Award winners Emil Miszk & The Sonic Syndicate (February 23), Michał Barański’s Mazovian Mantra project (April 13), and the Kasia Pietrzko Trio (June 8). Adding depth to the lineup are the Hania Derej Quintet, Simona De Rosa with Confusion Project, and promising talents like Twoosty Mayonez and Know Material, Jazz Juniors Festival laureates. The series will conclude on December 7 with a performance by the boundary-pushing group sneaky jesus.
Since its debut in 2023, the Warsaw Live Sessions have drawn audiences eager to experience top-tier jazz, offering not only live performances but also the chance to participate in audio-video recordings. Organized by the JAZZ PO POLSKU Foundation and supported by the Warsaw City Hall, this series continues to expand the reach and appreciation of Polish jazz.
