For the tenth consecutive year, the serene surroundings of Brustman Ponds in Wawrzyszew provide the perfect setting for a unique musical experience. Every Friday afternoon this summer, the area transforms into an open-air concert space where audiences can enjoy light, classical, and folk music performances in a relaxed and picturesque atmosphere.
The concert series began on June 27, and two performances have already delighted audiences – the passionate rhythms of Tango Libre and the vibrant energy of Klezmeriza opened the season on a high note.
The next concert will take place this Friday, July 11, featuring the lively and traditional sounds of Kapela z Warszawy. Following this performance, the upcoming lineup includes Javorina, presenting folk music rooted in Central European traditions on July 18 and a classical vocal program titled Pearls of Vocal Music, featuring soprano Marta Studzińska and mezzo-soprano Magdalena Milczarska, accompanied by piano on July 25.
Admission is free, making this a perfect opportunity to enjoy quality live music without leaving the city. In case of bad weather, concerts will be moved to the theater hall of the nearby Bielany Cultural Center. Seating is limited in the indoor venue, so early arrival is recommended.
