The New Year approaches – shudder. But what’s on, and where – here’s some events to consider…
Warsaw Tortilla Factory (Wilcza 46) Entrance zł. 50, with your ticket gaining you a welcome drink and a glass of bubbles at midnight. And to keep the temperature hot they’ve signed up DJ Santa and DJ Clause for the evening.
Cuda na Kiju (Nowy Świat 6/12) zł. 20 secures entry and a welcome drink of Gueuze beer. Alternatively, splash out zł. 100 which ensures a table, pizza, three beers and a glass of Gueuze.
Foksal XVIII (Foksal 18) Foksal have chosen to keep it simple: zł. 100 gets you entry, a welcome drink and a glass of something on the stroke of midnight. Reservations: tel. 885 635 885.
Kufle i Kapsle (Nowogrodzka 25) Business as usual at KiK, the difference being an entry fee of zł. 30 which in turn gets you a beer and a drink at midnight. Make reservations directly at the bar.
Legends (E. Platter 25) Free entry though book an advanced ticket for zł. 60 to guarantee a table. There’ll also be a hot and cold buffet.
National Stadium Free entry and performances from T.Love, Afromental and John Newman guarantee an absolutely huge turn-out. The show starts at 9 p.m.
Pardon To Tu (pl. Grzybowski 12/14/16) Tickets for zł. 60. Price includes some complimentary booze and bites.
Platinium (Fredry 6) A complex ticket system that weighs in at zł. 300 for standing room, and zł. 400-700 for a seat. Check their FB because otherwise we’d be here all day telling you what that gets. Do, however, expect “an incredible journey to the land of kings and queens, to majestic castles, fire-breathing dragons and knights in silver armor.”
Professionals in Warsaw / Pure Sky Club (Złota 59) The Profs will be holding their annual knees-up in Pure Sky, where zł. 250 bags you beer, wine, vodka, soft drinks and a buffet. Other drinks to be purchased separately. For reservations call tel. 22 250 1111.
