While Lazy Dog isn’t exactly new, it does feel like it’s turned over a new leaf – what was a good cocktail bar, it seems, has grown to become a very good one.

Split into two sections, Lazy Dog has a large sunny main room, and then a small bar area nestled to the right – go there, for that’s where the great things happen…

Seeking inspiration from some of the world’s wackiest artworks, the cocktails aren’t just beautiful to look at, but damn good to drink…

If there’s a highlight, that’s the ‘Fight Between A Tiger & A Buffalo’, a spicy, tropical creation complete enveloped in a thick billowing mist.

How many bars, however, have mastered these new-fangled drinks only to trip up on the classics? No worries here: nicely pepped up with horse radish and mustard, the Bloody Mary is a class act and the kind of medicine that stops a hangover in its tracks.

Krucza keeps finding itself in the news lately, and not really for the right reasons: a growing number of bars and restaurants here have found themselves waving the white flag and declaring bankruptcy, a bitter pill considering the roaring success story that is Nowogrodzka nearby. Yet despite this growing sense of flux all around, Lazy Dog looks and feels confident and assured. And so it should.
