An in-depth study of 41 global cities has ranked Warsaw as the ninth best place in the world in which to go out. The survey, conducted by Hostelworld, took into account factors such as quality of nightlife, safety, transport and cost. Hamburg, Berlin and Copenhagen were named the top three cities, with the Polish capital coming out ahead of New York, London and Barcelona.

According to respondents, Warsaw was classed as, “friendly, convenient to get around, and that magic word, AFFORDABLE.” In fact, in terms of ‘the best night out for under GBP 30’, the city only found itself outstripped by Prague.
