Currently, we see a strong interest in engineering fields—mechanical, electrical, and aerospace engineering are particularly popular among our students pursuing studies in the US, UK, and Europe. Additionally, many students are choosing creative fields, recognizing that architecture, fine arts, fashion design, and product design offer not only personal fulfillment but also professional versatility, including business opportunities.

What Distinguishes Akademeia High School from the Rest

— How does Akademeia High School stand out from other educational institutions?

Dr. Watras: We call ourselves a “pre-university high school” that operates similarly to a university. Our small class sizes (a maximum of 12 students) allow for an individualized approach, enabling teachers to recognize and nurture each student’s strengths and interests.
We follow the British curriculum, offering iGCSE and A Level programs. The A Level program, designed by university lecturers, goes beyond subject knowledge, emphasizing analytical and research skills. Additionally, we offer unique subjects such as art history, photography, economics, philosophy, sociology, and psychology, providing students with a broad academic foundation.
This year, Akademeia became the first school in Poland to receive British School Overseas status, reflecting our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of British education.
