A Deep Dive into Polish Wine
Once seen as a curiosity, Polish wine is steadily earning recognition both at home and abroad. Recent international mentions highlight the momentum: the acclaimed Winnica Kamil Barczentewicz—a long-time partner of Łaskawość Tytusa—was featured in the newsletter of Master of Wine Tim Atkin, while renowned “flying winemakers” Agnieszka Rousseau and Roman Myśliwiec have been highlighted by Jancis Robinson MW.
Behind the buzz lies real change. In recent years, the number of active vineyards in Poland has nearly doubled, and quality has become the driving force. Increasingly, wineries are not hobby ventures but well-funded, carefully planned agricultural businesses whose bottles are appearing on the lists of the country’s top restaurants and wine bars.
To showcase this new wave, Marcin Tytus Grabski will present a curated selection of ten wines—ranging from notable contemporary producers to rare bottles no longer available on the market. The evening promises both a personal perspective and a broader introduction to Poland’s most distinctive wineries.
The tasting will be conducted entirely in English and accompanied by traditional Polish snacks.
