Polish Vodka Museum
Praga does history best when it refuses to feel embalmed, and the Polish Vodka Museum is a case in point. Set inside the former Koneser vodka factory, it traces Poland’s relationship with its national spirit through smart, interactive exhibits that move from production and politics to ritual, branding and, inevitably, tasting. Even vodka skeptics may leave with a little more respect for what is in the glass.
Better still, the story does not end at the gift shop. In the same building, Setki Powodów keeps the mood going with cocktails, music and an easy-going menu built for sharing. Think globally minded comfort food, late-afternoon drinks and the kind of buzzy atmosphere that can turn one quick stop into an evening. And for those still not quite ready to call it a night, there is another cocktail bar upstairs waiting to be discovered.
Taken together, the museum and Setki sum up modern Koneser rather neatly: industrial history polished up without losing its edge, with just enough vodka — and a few secrets — to keep things interesting for hours.
