Following on from days of intense speculation the government have announced a road map outlining a path out of lockdown.
From May 1st, hair and beauty salons will be open at 50% capacity.
From May 4th, art galleries and museums will also open with a limit of 1 person per 15 sqm/m, a rule that will also apply to large format shopping centers, furniture stores and churches. Years 1-3 at primary school will also resume.
From May 8th, hotels will resume operation at 50% capacity though their restaurants and wellness zones will remain closed.
From May 15th, the requirement to wear masks outdoors will be dropped if infection rates fall below a specified level. Restaurant gardens will be allowed to open with tables set at a distance. Open-air theaters and cinemas shall also reopen. Outdoor events such as weddings will be permitted, though with a cap of 25 people. Outdoor sports facilities will also open to the public at 25% capacity.
From May 29th, bars and restaurants will welcome visitors inside, albeit at 50% capacity, as will cinemas and theaters. Outdoor sports facilities will be allowed to operate at a similar level. Gyms, fitness clubs and solariums will operate with one person per 15 sq/m.
