The building contractors are putting the finishing touches to its new wings. In September ‘24 the school opens 17 new classrooms, an Early Years Centre for 3-6 year olds, an Upper Primary building and a spacious sports hall with outdoor fields and pitches.
BSW joined International Schools Partnership (ISP) in January 2023, its first school in Poland. Since then, Akademeia High School in Wilanow has also joined the group and there is further growth planned. Being part of a global schools group provides many learning opportunities for BSW, its staff and its pupils.
BSW is a values-driven school. Its pupils and staff are guided by its walk of the lion, a programme that underpins its educational approach. Grease, the Musical was a recent highlight, where the pupils shone on stage through dance, music and drama. May is the month of green camps, international trips and outdoor learning and pupils are enjoying the delights of Paris and London and the Polish lakes and mountains.
Tom McGrath has been leading BSW since 2017 and he has over 25 years of leadership experience in international education in schools in Poland, Portugal and the Cayman Islands.
