Just as you thought 2020 couldn’t get any stranger, then along comes the Selfie Museum to throw your world a little more off balance.

Occupying 500 square meters of the Kolmex office building, head here (selfie stick: advisable) to prowl a network of rooms decked out with Instagramable decoys and diversions that range from the anticipated angel wings and inflatable swans to the downright bizarre: an upside down bedroom; a menacing giant Lego figure; a unicorn; a bathtub with a bear; a gold-sprayed bathroom; and a pool filled with pink rubber balls.
Teeming with optical illusions and amusing installations, it’s an immersive space in which mind-bending snaps are all but guaranteed.
Built with these millennial times in mind, it’s a surefire way to add vim and verve to your social media account.
By no means cheap (admission: zł. 36 for adults), it’s nonetheless fun, funky and firmly of the hour.
And let’s face it, if ever we’ve needed moments of light relief, then this covid summer is precisely that moment.
