Warsaw’s summer calendar gets a fresh addition this year with the launch of Estradowe Lato, a new open-air festival that will transform the Multimedia Fountain Park into a lively cultural hub over two July weekends.
Taking place on July 10-11 and July 17-18, the free event promises an eclectic mix of live music, comedy, dancing, art, and community activities against the backdrop of one of the capital’s most scenic outdoor spaces.
Organized by Stołeczna Estrada and co-financed by the City of Warsaw, Estradowe Lato aims to showcase some of Poland’s most exciting emerging artists while creating an accessible summer gathering for residents and visitors alike.
The festival’s music program features a strong line-up of contemporary Polish acts. The opening weekend welcomes indie-pop group LOR alongside singer-songwriter maks.tachasiuk, followed by performances from Leon Krześniak and Dezydery on Saturday. The second weekend brings performances from synth-pop duo Bluszcz, singer-songwriter Ofelia, indie-pop outfit Blauka, and acclaimed vocalist Rosalie.
Beyond the concerts, festivalgoers can enjoy comedy performances from Warsaw’s beloved Klub Komediowy, including the improvised holiday-themed show All Inclusive – Improvised Vacation and the relationship comedy Honey, We Need to Talk…
As the sun sets, veteran Warsaw DJ I Say Mikey will take over the decks, leading outdoor dance parties and late-night sets designed to keep the energy high well into the evening.
The first weekend will also host a market dedicated to vinyl records, CDs and cassette tapes, while the second weekend introduces Targowisko Sztuki, an open-air art fair featuring paintings, artistic jewellery, handcrafted design objects and works by independent creators.
Visitors looking for a slower pace can join morning yoga sessions on the grass, while additional attractions and activities will be hosted by festival partners throughout the event.
With free admission, a riverside setting and a programme that blends music, art and community, Estradowe Lato looks set to become one of Warsaw’s most appealing new summer traditions.
