The spirit of Christmas has touched down on Pl. Europejski with Warsaw’s newest urban square presenting a dizzy headrush of cascading colors and glimmering illuminations. Thick with the festive scent of mulled wine and seasonal food, Pl. Europejski’s Christmas contribution goes further to include an ice rink and a new look installation proclaiming ‘I Love Warsaw!’
Created with the people of Warsaw in mind, the Warsaw Spire’s investor, Ghelamco, has introduced a free ice rink ringed with cute little cabins retailing December delights such as piping warm wine. Enjoy just that while browsing the Art Walk, an outdoor gallery presenting some of the iconic neon lights that once bewitched the capital.
But the main talking point? That’s the dazzling I Love Warsaw sign, a show stealing installation that’s set to become one of Warsaw’s most photographed objects: skating under its glow while snowflakes tumble down is guaranteed to become one of the defining moments of winter in Warsaw!
