The Weeknd is set to perform in Warsaw in a few days. The Canadian musician and producer will take the stage on August 9th at the National Stadium.
This event is part of his global “After Hours Til Dawn Tour,” which has already set a record for the highest attendance in one night for any stadium event, with 80,000 fans in attendance.
The tour is a celebration of The Weeknd‘s 2020 album “After Hours” (its hit single “Blinding Lights” became the new #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 of all time, surpassing Chubby Checker’s 1960 hit “The Twist”), as well as the critically acclaimed album “Dawn FM,” released in January 2022. Kaytranada and Mike Dean will join The Weeknd on all European concerts.

Years of waiting
Fans of the artist have been waiting for this moment for years. Although the star was supposed to perform in Poland on several occasions, including alongside Rihanna during her world tour in 2016, he only made it to the country once, at the Open’er Festival in 2018. Now, the musician will finally come to Warsaw. On August 9th, he will perform at the PGE National Stadium as part of the “After Hours Til Dawn Tour” concert series. The artist will play his greatest hits for the fans against the spectacular stage design by Hajime Sorayama and Es Devlin. The concert will be preceded by a DJ set from Kaytranada, also a Canadian artist.

Fans of the vocalist are getting ready for the highly anticipated concert, which was announced several months ago. Legends circulate about his performances, saying that he puts on a truly unforgettable show. Those lucky enough to have purchased tickets are wondering about the starting time of The Weeknd’s “After Hours Til Dawn Tour” and how long it will last. It must be noted that the setlist is extensive, consisting of about thirty songs, making the event’s duration (17:00-22:00) quite long. Fans certainly have a lot to look forward to.
