Craft beer, mead, street food, retro gaming, workshops, and a costume contest with lifetime passes up for grabs—WBF’s milestone edition promises the biggest slate yet.
Craft beer, mead, street food, retro gaming, workshops, and a costume contest with lifetime passes up for grabs—WBF’s milestone edition promises the biggest slate yet.
The Warsaw Beer Festival returns for its 20th edition with a programme that the organizers say will outdo all previous outings. Expect dozens of stands pouring craft (and 0%) beers, a boosted mead presence, and the beloved Gastrofaza food-truck zone. Around the pours, the festival expands its extras: a Parostacja sauna, guided beer tours (with or without tastings), hands-on workshops (think French brewing and a tour of American styles), a Retro Games Zone dialed up with classic PC titles, and a craft makers’ fair.
Charity remains central, too. The Sztosy Auction—the festival’s main fundraiser—returns, with proceeds supporting ACA therapy, while specially trained four-legged rescue dogs from OSP Marki will make an appearance.
As For Watercolor
Architect-watercolorist Grzegorz Wróbel translates last edition’s observations into this year’s official poster—a rich, spirited panorama of festival life. Keep an eye out: it’s already brightening billboards across the city.
An International Pour
WBF’s footprint keeps growing: expect visitors from Lithuania, Czechia, France, the UK, Israel, and beyond. The British Embassy will spotlight UK beers; CAMRA unpacks traditional British styles. From the stage, speakers from France and Germany dive into brewing culture—and educator/author Markus Raupach presents the 60 brewing-themed games he’s created. Yes, sixty.
The ‘Nowhere to Wear It’ Party
Got a glorious outfit with zero real-world use? This is its moment. Kimono, heirloom suit, ballroom gown—press, steam, strut. Saturday’s early birds (from 12:00) become the jury, each given one voting token to award their favourite costume. Most tokens wins—with prizes including lifetime WBF passes. The awards gala hits the main stage at 17:00 on Saturday.
A ‘1670’ Twist On Stage
Rumour has it someone from Wolny Kraft will show up dressed as a serf—cheeky nod to a live session with Kuba Rużyłło, the screenwriter of 1670. He switches hats for a freestyle meet-up with rapper Proceente. Expect sparks.
Extreme (and Extremely Fun) Competitions
Take flight in the Deluxe Ski Jump Championships set in the stadium stands. Prefer raw strength? Enter the Harpagan Cup. Steel nerves more your thing? The Parrón Challenge awaits. Spectating types aren’t left out: the Polish Homebrewers Association crowns the best homebrew of the edition.

Hot-Cold-Hop Therapy
Between sessions, rotate from Parostacja sauna to a guided tour or workshop. It’s a clever reset—and a great way to sharpen your tasting notes.

Eat, Play, Shop
Refuel in Gastrofaza (the food-truck park), button-mash in the upgraded Retro Games Zone, then wander the craft fair for small-batch finds to take home.
Programme & Tickets: Full schedule, timings, and ticket info are available via the festival’s official programme on the WBF website.
Charity: Bid in the Sztosy Auction—proceeds support ACA therapy.
Furry VIPs: Meet the trained rescue dogs from OSP Marki.
