No other person has done more to drag the traditional bar mleczny into the 21st century than Kamil Hagamajer. Known locally as ‘The King of the Milk Bar’, Hagamajer’s credits include the creation of the Mleczarnia chain, and the successful revival of PRL relics such as Bar Prasowy and Bar Gdański. His latest project, however, is perhaps the most exciting to date: a vegan milk bar the reimagines budget Polish standards through vegetarian eyes. That this is done so within a sharp and smart interior is an added boon.
