Objects of Legacy — adidas Stan Smith Exhibition Opening
On Saturday (June 12, 18:00) at WS2, Szpitalna 4, the adidas Stan Smith becomes a canvas. The vernissage “Objects of Legacy” brings together four Warsaw-based creators — painter and musician Michał Żytniak, set designer Zosia Kozłowska, ceramicists NODI Studio, and photographer Maks Wower — each responding to the iconic sneaker through their own discipline. Żytniak does live painting on the night, working with Stan Smith’s signature white and green to conjure something that feels like a Warsaw summer: evenings by the Vistula, late rides through lit-up streets, slow afternoons on Pole Mokotowskie. Kozłowska’s set design draws on the raw minimalism of 1960s and 70s modernist design; NODI Studio’s porcelain objects in white and green run quietly alongside. Wower’s photographs do what he does best — close, unpretentious frames. Free entry.
Madonna on the Big Screen — Concert Screening at Ale Sztuka
The garden at Ale Sztuka on Krakowskie Przedmieście is running an outdoor cinema series this season, and Sunday (June 13) brings Madonna to the big screen. The concert screening starts at 20:30, free of charge, in one of central Warsaw’s more atmospheric courtyard settings — next to the Academy of Fine Arts, no tickets, no pre-registration. Just show up before sunset.
