At Art Box Experience, we are celebrating Women’s Day throughout the entire weekend – March 7–8 – with special guided tours of the exhibition “Leonardo versus Michelangelo. A Duel of Renaissance Geniuses.”
This is a unique opportunity to look at art history from the perspective of women who have inspired artists for centuries – muses, patrons, aristocrats, intellectuals, lovers and partners in creative dialogue.
March 7 (Saturday), 6:00 PM – Women of the Renaissance
An evening guided tour for adults, beginning with a welcome cocktail that sets an intimate and elegant tone. Participants will embark on an immersive journey through the world of two Renaissance masters – Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo – while discovering the role of women who significantly influenced their lives and artistic output.
The narrative combines analysis of key artworks with stories of emotions, relationships and aspirations, presenting the Renaissance as a time of deep reflection on the human condition – body, spirit and individuality.
March 8 (Sunday), 4:00 PM – A Renaissance Flower for Women
A guided tour open to all age groups. At the end of the visit, each woman will receive a carnation – a symbolic gesture inspired by an era in which a single flower carried meaning and emotion.
During the tour, participants will explore how Leonardo and Michelangelo depicted femininity – from the mystery of a gaze to ideals of beauty and spiritual depth – and how women shaped Renaissance art.
