For the 11th year running, industry insiders gathered for our annual Best of Warsaw awards, the biggest and most successful event to date!
Warsaw’s top restaurateurs and chefs convened in the Sofitel on Thursday evening (January 15th) for the 11th edition of the Warsaw Insider’s prestigious Best of Warsaw food and drinks awards. “Last year,” said editor-in-chief, Alex Webber, “was a celebration of innovation and invention, with the market maturing and diversifying like never before, ensuring the results were more unpredictable than ever before.”
Big winners on the night included Nolita, who scooped top prize in the fine dining category, Tapas Gastrobar (Casual Dining) and Atelier Amaro (Plate Presentation). Chefs that were recognized included Andrea Camastra of Senses (Best Foreign Chef), Dariusz Barański of Concept 13 (One To Watch), Aleksander Baron of Solec 44 (Slow Food) and Michał Bryś of L’enfant Terrible (Best Newcomer). Meanwhile, Jacek Grochowina of Nolita was named as Warsaw’s top chef overall.
For the key categories, the Insider’s panel of jurors was joined by TV chef Joseph Seeletso and bloggers from Restaurantica and Froblog. Now in its eleventh year, the Insider’s Best of Warsaw awards have emerged to become one of the most important dates in the local industry calendar, a point reflected by a successful night enjoyed by a capacity crowd.
