Residents of Warsaw were left scandalized last week after an Ilyushin-14 passenger plane was left parked on Pl. Defilad. But this shock quickly turned to horror after rumors began circulating that the plane’s owner – the proprietor of numerous fast food ventures in the vicinity – planned on opening a Vietnamese snack joint inside.

The city has moved quickly to allay fears that the plane is here to stay and has initiated proceedings to remove the illegal eyesore, however, inside sources have admitted that it could be a matter of weeks, rather than days, till the aircraft is finally hauled away.
