There’s always that one go-to spot—consistent, quick, and satisfying—where you leave feeling like your time and money were well spent. For me, that spot is Miss Kimchi. Tucked near Norblin on Żelazna, just a stroll from Jerozolimskie, it’s hard to miss with its steady trickle of customers outside. Don’t let the line deter you, though. The service is swift, and diners rarely linger long after eating.
Miss Kimchi isn’t about fancy table service. Instead, it’s a casual, cafeteria-style setup where you queue up, choose your meal, and watch as the friendly servers expertly scoop your sides onto the tray. For my order, I always go for the bento-style box with four sides. The radish and cabbage kimchi are non-negotiables for me—the tangy, fiery flavors are simply the best. If you’re looking to balance things out, I recommend their soy-sauce-marinated zucchini with onions—a subtle, savory counterpoint to the spice.
Once you’ve chosen your sides, the box heads to the kitchen for the main event. My winter go-to is their KFC (Korean Fried Chicken), which packs the perfect amount of heat to warm you up on a cold day. And here’s the true litmus test of any casual eatery: the rice. Miss Kimchi nails it. Despite the fast-paced, production-line vibe, the rice is perfectly cooked—fluffy, fragrant, and just the right texture.
Miss Kimchi is a modern, Korean twist on the Polish milk bar, complete with smiling, energetic servers and an atmosphere that’s refreshingly upbeat. The efficiency and warmth make it as much about the experience as the food itself. It’s become a new favorite of mine, and I’m delighted to share it with you. Whether you’re craving bold Korean flavors or just need a quick, satisfying meal, Miss Kimchi delivers every time.
